Daniel McCrary

Daniel McCrary is from Dahlonega, GA. He graduated from Lumpkin County High School in 2014. He attended the University of North Georgia from 2015-2019. He graduated from UNG with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology in 2018. He later graduated with a Master’s degree in Kinesiology from UNG in 2020. While at UNG, he played on the baseball team. During his time there, UNG won 3 conference championships, made 2 regional appearances, and 1 world series appearance. During the 2017 season, he helped lead UNG to the #1 ranking in the nation for the first time in school history and an overall record of 46-12. During that year, UNG made a run to the world series, winning the 2nd regional in school history. He also set the season record for most wins in the NCAA era at North Georgia with 10 wins. He personal accomplishments and awards during his time at UNG are 2018 NCBWA Preseason All-American (HM), 2018 NCBWA Preseason All-Region (1st team), 2017 ABCA/Rawlings All-Region (1st team), 2017 NCBWA All-Region (2nd team), 2017 Peach Belt Conference All-Tournament , 2017 Peach Belt Conference All-Conference (2nd team), He currently teaching social studies at Lumpkin County High School. His wife, Morgan McCrary, is a kindergarten teacher at Cottrell Elementary. He has 2 children, Tate and Tenley.
