We went to Wingfoot in Clarksville this weekend. It is sponsored by the Atlanta Track Club and it is a huge annual event. The boys raced against 33 teams. Witt Windham led the pack the entire race and clearly won 1st place breaking the 16 minute threshold. Evan Good wasn't far behind, impressive because he was sick most of the week. Nickson McGillivray, Paulo Ramirez and Solomon Alhadeff rounded out the top 5 from our team. The boys placed 5th overall. The girls team was operating on a skeleton crew due to injury and other commitments. Our 5 girls managed to place 11th out of 22 teams and Keli George came through the line in 3rd place, Joanie Phillabaum in 7th place with Violet Greene, Arianna Cook and Sara Merkyl finishing in the middle of the pack. It is a huge venue with tons of teams and lots of great energy.
