LCXC went to Bogart to run at North Oconee High School. We ran against the big dogs! Fierce competition with lots of big schools competing. The boys team had a great race, all 7 of our runners ran the course in under 20 minutes. 3.1 miles, that is really good! Witt Windham was 3rd, Nickson McGillavry and Paulo Ramirez posted times in the 17's, Carter Gilreath and Bowen Aiken ran in the low 18's. Nickson, Carter and Bowen are all Freshmen! Elliot Grey ran in the 18's and JC Thomasson was 19:15. Great day for the boys! Due to the SAT a illness and injuries we had 3 girls from the girl's team compete. Keli George posted a great time and medaled in the top 15. Blakely Bell and Kendall Bankston ran their season best on this course. We are gearing up for Sectionals in 2 weeks! Looking forward to seeing what they can do at Sectionals and State!
