Lumpkin County swim teams had a strong start to the 2025-2026 season at the Cherokee Bluff Monster Meet. We had 22 swimmers swim personal records and 15 swimmers with one or more top 10 finishes. Elijah Duffee earned 1st place finishes in both his 50 Fly and 100 Free races. Our swimmers of the meet were Taylor Game and Ian Webb. Ian had a phenomenal meet, smashing his previous PR's and anchoring the Medley relay team to earn first place. Taylor has worked incredibly hard during the preseason to improve her technique. That was on display Saturday as she posted new PR's and had great swims. This Saturday the swim teams will be back in action at the Fall Frenzy at Frances Meadows in Gainesville.
