The Rifle Team won its match at home against Parkview HS on December 5th. After a rare week in which the team had two matches, the Indians were able to finish it with the win by a score of 1131 to 1012. J.T. Wright led the match with a score of 295. Contributing to the win were Liam Kearney (285), Justice Kiefer (278), Ivy Stowers (273, and Joey Dechant (273). Makayla Prosser also shot a 265. Kiefer’s 278 is a new personal best. The week involved new personal bests by J.T. Wright, Ivy Stowers, Justice Kiefer, and Makayla Prosser, as well as the new team season high. The list of new bests shows growth in the team. The team’s next match will be an away match against Roswell HS on Thursday, December 11th at 5. The match will be a paper match, the team’s second of the season.
