For the second year in a row, the Lady Indians Wrestling Team came home with the State Championship in Traditional Wrestling! Having already collected the Girls Dual State Championship, the ladies left school on Thursday destined to Morrow, GA, to compete in the State Traditional Meet. The ladies did not disappoint: Greta Garbuzovas collected a State Championship! Faith Jones collected a State Championship! Nora Garbuzovas collected a Second Place! Mattie Mendoza collected a Fourth Place! Caroline Cunningham collected a Fifth Place! All in all, we racked up enough points to haul the BIG TROPHY home!
