Lumpkin Soccer Banquet Honors Many!

LUMPKIN SOCCER BANQUET HONORS MANY!

This past Sunday afternoon, the Torch Church opened its doors to host the 2026 Soccer Team Banquet. Many young men and one special young lady were honored. Coach Howell opened the banquet thanking many people, and then began the recognition of the awards. First was a rundown of a particularly great season: - 10-5 overall and 5-2 in Region. - Beating Pickens, North Hall, White, Dawson, and Chestatee (first time since 2007). - Hosting a playoff match at home for the first time in 20 years! - Being a part of a first in soccer history at Lumpkin by both the girls and boys program hosting a state playoff match on the same day - Scoring 36 goals on the season - Being ranked in Top 10 for the majority of the season by Scorebord. - And more importantly they had an overall team Cumulative GPA of 91.53! All-Region Honorable Mention Joseph Alvarez Eli Branan Lucas Fogle Randy Hernandez Cooper Marling All-Region 2nd Team- Devin Alvarez Jack Fugich All-Region 1st Team- Ridge Cole Chance Sprague Region Player of the Year- Ridge Cole To receive the soccer academic certificate of achievement a player must have a 90 cumulative G.P.A or higher. We have 21 players that have achieved this honor.
